My experience with using Tetracycline 3% formulation on equine wounds has been very positive. Wounds have generally healed faster and with less granulation tissue. My clients have been very pleased with the results.
The Tetracycline 3% formulation is truly a unique and effective topical product. The improved outcomes we have seen in managing and healing wounds of many types (lacerations, burns, coronary band infections, thrush and infected wounds) have been very impactful, compared to standard of care topical products. There is a visible improvement with the healing process when incorporating the Tetracycline 3% formulation into patient care.
I would strongly recommend using this for any wound occurrence as true first aid in the field and as part of a post-operative management strategy.
